In this Privacy Policy our gathering and dissemination practices are explained. Your use of our Services confirms your acknowledgement and acceptance of the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Information we collect

    The Marshall Index enables users to create customized lists of links and insert comment for certain links. In order to do this, the users must create an account, which in turn requires the user to submit certain personally identifiable information to us. This information are: username and users email. The user also must create his password.

    Marshall Index gives you the opportunity to change (or delete) your information at any time, although in doing so it does not necessarily mean that the original account information will be deleted from our servers.

  • We use yours personal information, to enable you to use Marshall Index's personalized features- such as posting comments to articles. We may also use your email address to contact you regarding account issues and new features issues.

    We do not use any personally identifiable information you may include in your submissions to the Marshall Index blog. We do not monitor comments postings and we are not responsible for any third party use of the information you include in those postings.

    We do not sell, rent, or share personally identifiable information, including email lists, with third parties. We may be required by law, court order, governmental agency, or law enforcement authority to disclose whatever personally identifiable information we may have collected from you. We may also disclose your information to law enforcement authorities investigating suspected illegal activity.

    We do not combine personally identifiable information with any of the non-personally identifiable information gathered through the use of cookies.

  • We compile and analyze non-personally identifiable information on an aggregated basis. We can make certain analysis and internal research regarding the site traffic, our visitors' demographics, interests, and behavior but this information will not be linked to any of the personally identifiable information that we collect from you, for example the information you give us when you establish your Marshall Index account.

    Marshall Index can pass the aggregated data (non- personally identifiable information) to advertising agencies and firms that conduct site analysis. However, none of that information can be used by third parties to identify you.

Information Retention

We retain your Marshall Index account information, the aggregated non-personally identifiable information we collect from you, as well as the comments submitted by you indefinitely.

The Marshall Index website resides on servers maintained by a commercial hosting company. That company protects the servers from intrusion, and maintains a firewall to protect against unauthorized access. None of these measures is foolproof; and we do not monitor the web hosting company's facilities or procedures to determine its compliance with the security procedures it says it employs.

Changes of this Privacy Policy

Marshall Index Corporation reserves the right about Privacy Policy changes, whenever there will be a need for that, such as changes in order to comply with applicable laws, to improve your experience, or to reflect any general change in our policy. Any made changes in this Privacy Policy will be posted to this web page. Messages will not be sent to you about the changes made regarding the Privacy Policy. You can print or download a copy of this document.
